The Ajna Score is a Vitality Score from 0 to 100 that quantifies the astrological strength and sentiment surrounding an entity at a specific moment. It is not a stock price prediction or a game score forecast. Instead, it measures the underlying cosmic "weather"—whether planetary alignments suggest a period of opportunity and strength or one of challenge and pressure.

Our platform was born from a desire to bridge the gap between the profound wisdom of Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) and the data-driven modern world. We provide a unique lens to view the inherent momentum and potential of any person, company, or event with a known "birth" time. The entire system is deterministic; given the same inputs, it will always produce the same output, ensuring consistency and auditability.

2. Core Architectural Principles

The Ajna Score is the output of a multi-layered, deterministic mathematical model. Our engine performs a dual-layer analysis, providing a holistic view by separating the tangible "event" potential from the underlying "mood" or psychological climate.

The core of our algorithm is the Individual Planet Score (IPS). Before any timeframe weighting is applied, each of the nine Vedic planets is evaluated based on a comprehensive set of metadata to determine its raw strength and condition.

• Daily Score: Primarily driven by the Moon (highest weight), with secondary influences from the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. This score captures the sentiment and tone for a 24-hour period.
• Weekly Score: The focus shifts to the faster inner planets. Mercury, Venus, and the Sun receive higher weightings, reflecting their influence on the week's communications, social dynamics, and core focus.
• Monthly Score: Dominated by the Sun (which is in one sign for a month) and Mars. This score reflects the central theme and area of action for the month.
• Quarterly Score: Driven almost exclusively by the slow-moving giants Jupiter and Saturn. Their positions establish the major themes of opportunity, expansion, challenge, and responsibility for a three-month period.

• Generative AI: We use Google's `genkit` with the Gemini family of models to generate the qualitative "Vedic Insights" that interpret the numerical scores and natal chart data.
• Hosting: The entire application is deployed on Firebase App Hosting for scalable and secure delivery.
